Overview

Weekend-only Production Light Assembly Associate Needed!

$18.80 per hour, plus $1.80 shift differential for night shift

Shift available:

• Weekend Night (Friday 11pm - Saturday 11am and Saturday 11pm - Sunday 11am)

Production Light Assembly Associates monitor product coming out of injection molding machines, clip/trim excess plastic, perform light assembly, and pack product in boxes. Associates will be standing for their entire shift; some jobs require reasonable bending and twisting to perform duties. Parts are all lightweight. We train - great opportunity for those:

• Who ever worked in fast-food, retail or warehouse environments where attendance was a priority and you were trained to follow processes and procedures;
• Looking for a second career where you can report to work, hit production targets, and leave work at work;
• Or for those just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.

Responsibilities:

• Handling various types of plastic products
• Checking for visible defects to ensure quality standards are met
• Perform light assembly of parts
• Trimming
• Packaging
• Labeling
• Maintain acceptable established production rates
• Maintaining a safe and clean operation

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read, speak and understand English
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• Follow all company safety rules and policies to include communicating any and all unsafe conditions, unsafe behaviors, near misses, incidents and or accidents to a Supervisor or Manager immediately
• Team player - must be able to report to assigned shift knowing that co-workers depend on their attendance to meet goals
• Physically perform work – standing/moving for the entire shift, reasonable bending and twisting, sorting and packing
• Must be able to pass a drug test and be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis for any employer

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Troubleshooting experience
