Astemo Rock Spring, Inc. is seeking a Gate Cut Operator in Casting to join our part-time manufacturing team in Rock Spring, GA. You will operate gate cut equipment across multiple production lines and help maintain COP and safety practices.
After training, you may be cross-trained in additional steps. You will use hand and powered tools, monitor production quantities, check product quality, and support continuous improvement toward on-time delivery and compliance with OSHA and ISO standards.

We have three main manufacturing departments, Casting, Machining, and Press Assembly. We are part of Astemo, inc. with 90,000 employees worldwide.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand 8 hrs; to use hands and fingers; handle or feel objects, tools or controls; walk; reach with hands and arms; talk and/or hear; and withstand heated area. Requires repetitive lifting (>700 each shift) of weights up to 15 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.
