Overview

Weekend-only Material Handler Needed! Starting pay rate is $20.57 per hour, plus $1.00 shift differential

Day Shift available:

Saturday 11am - 11pm and Saturday 11am - 11pm

Stryten Energy, a new company name with a long history in Lancaster County, operates a growing plastic injection molding facility in West Lampeter Township. We produce plastic components for car batteries and have a stable and growing customer base. As an essential business we continue to thrive during this economic downturn, and we are expanding our teams.
Material Handlers operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move raw materials and finished product around the facility.

Responsibilities

  • Provide molding operations with plastic materials, lead, cardboard, and skids per standard work
  • Operate forklift and pallet jack
  • Achieve forklift certification
  • Supply machine hoppers/bowls with component parts
  • Remove and transport finished goods to warehouse or other designated storage areas
  • Manually lift and stack boxes of finished product
  • Wrap and identify finished skids per standard work
  • Supply rework to operators
  • Maintain warehouse and storage location organization
  • Follow all safety requirements
  • Clean as directed
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications

    Must be able to read, speak and understand English – High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
    Follow all company safety rules and policies to include communicating any and all unsafe conditions, unsafe behaviors, near misses, incidents and or accidents to a Supervisor or Manager immediately
    Team player - must be able to report to assigned shift knowing that co-workers depend on their attendance to meet goals
    Physically perform work – be detailed oriented with good hand/eye coordination
    Must be able to pass a drug test and be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis for any employer
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience operating forklifts preferred
  • Troubleshooting experience
