Job summary

Richcroft, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in Harford County/CYPRESS.

This role covers Saturdays and Sundays from 8am to 8pm, on an every-other-weekend rotation, with opportunities to help clients participate in community activities and build independent living skills. Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, outings, cooking, shopping, and documenting progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current driver’s license with less than 3 points on driving record.
• Must be able to transport people supported as needed.
• Some lifting and transferring may be required.
• Must have at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Must be at least 20 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist with participation and exploration of the community.
• Cultivate and expand independent living skills.
• Provide assistance with personal hygiene, activities/outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning.
• Assist with development of meaningful and personal relationships.
• Complete required documentation (incident reports, progress notes, behavior data, etc.).
• Administer and record medications pursuant to State and Agency requirements, when applicable.
• Other duties as assigned.
