Job summary

The Tinley Park-Park District is seeking a part-time Custodian for the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center in Tinley Park. The role covers daily cleaning of locker rooms, bathrooms, hallways and classrooms, plus managing room rentals and setup/breakdown of program spaces and the Fitness Center Pool as needed.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, CPR certification, and up to six months in a cleaning environment.

Qualifications

• Clear communication and ability to follow instructions.
• Basic understanding of cleaning equipment and safety procedures.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Clean daily: locker rooms, bathrooms, hallways and classrooms.
• Oversee room rentals and set up/break down program rooms.
• Open/close the Recreation Center and Fitness Center Pool as needed.
