Job Title: Part-time Weekend Cook at Dominion Senior Living

Join us to apply for the Part-time Weekend Cook role at Dominion Senior Living.

Shift Details: Every other weekend, 12-hour shifts from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm.

Responsibilities:

1. Identify and report food and supplies needed for upcoming menus.
2. Assist in receiving, rotating, and storing products.
3. Prepare menus and cook food according to nutritional guidelines, regulations, and residents' individual diets and preferences.
4. Present food attractively and ensure timely delivery.
5. Assist residents with eating, providing adaptive equipment as needed to foster independence.
6. Engage with residents during meals to ensure quality service.
7. Prepare food and coordinate service for special events.
8. Encourage resident participation in food service and gather their input.
9. Report any malfunctioning kitchen equipment to the food service director.
10. Assist with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience in cooking for large groups.
• Food-preparation training certification preferred.
• Desire to work with older adults.
