Web Developer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Web Developer to join our growing development team. In this role, you will work on building, maintaining, and enhancing web applications with guidance from brand and IT teams. You'll contribute to front-end code, assist in debugging, and help deliver high-quality digital experiences for our users.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with brand and compliance teams to implement and update user interface designs and product pages
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving bugs or technical issues
  • Stay up-to-date with web development best practices and trends

Web Development & System Optimization :

  • Develop and maintain interactive, responsive websites and web applications.
  • Build, enhance, and maintain high-performance web applications, ensuring scalability.
  • Design modern front-end user interfaces using frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
  • Implement secure back-end services using Node.js, Python, and / or Java-based solutions.
  • Optimize database performance (SQL, NoSQL) with efficient indexing and caching strategies.
  • Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms, supporting OAuth2, JWT, or SSO solutions.

Security & Compliance Management :

  • Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to ensure robust application security.
  • Implement security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor and respond to security threats, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with IT Ops, IT security, and support teams to optimize web development and deployment.
  • Contribute to technical strategy, helping define and refine system architecture decisions.
  • Document architectural decisions, workflows, and best practices for development teams.

Qualifications :

  • 2 to 3 years web page development, WordPress upgrade, and troubleshooting.
  • Basic understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG).
  • Familiarity with frontend libraries / frameworks (e.g., React, Bootstrap) is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of how APIs and backend services interact with frontend code.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or completion of coding bootcamp (or equivalent experience).
