Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a Wenatchee, WA company to hire an IT/Web Assistant for a part-time contract role. This in-person position pays $20.00/hour, with a bump to $25.00/hour after a successful eval, and offers roughly 10 hours per week.

You will develop and enhance a custom web-based scheduling app, troubleshoot bugs, optimize performance and security, and collaborate on API integrations and database design.

Qualifications

• Experience with PHP (Laravel with Livewire preferred) or similar MVC frameworks.
• Strong understanding of MySQL or other relational databases.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience working with APIs
• Familiarity with Git (GitHub or similar)

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance features for a custom web-based scheduling and booking application.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs while improving existing functionality.
• Help optimize application performance and security.
• Collaborate on database design and API integrations.
• Follow coding best practices, documentation standards, and version control procedures.
• Participate in technical planning and discussions with the development team.
