Job description

About Lumen Energy

Lumen Energy is accelerating the clean energy transition in commercial real estate. Our software platform identifies the best clean energy technologies—like solar, batteries, and EV chargers—for each building and helps owners evaluate and act on those opportunities. We make clean energy adoption easy, cost-effective, and scalable.

The Role

We're seeking a technically fluent Web Designer & Developer with strong Webflow skills to support our marketing and product teams. In this part-time contract role, you'll lead updates and improvements to our marketing website, ensuring high performance, strong UX, and alignment with our brand. You’ll also support visual asset design for key collateral like case studies, sales decks, and one-pagers.

While your primary focus will be Webflow development, you’ll also contribute to content marketing and social graphics as needed.

What You’ll Do
  • Own and execute updates to our Webflow website, including layout changes, CMS updates, performance enhancements, and responsive design fixes

  • Build and maintain custom Webflow components aligned with our design system

  • Ensure technical SEO, site speed, and accessibility best practices

  • Create supporting assets for sales enablement, such as:

    • Case studies

    • One-pagers (e.g., financing solar, Lumen process)

    • Customer journey decks

    • Occasional social media and email graphics

  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams on quick-turn creative requests

  • Work in US Pacific/Eastern time zones

What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in web design or marketing design

  • Advanced Webflow skills, including CMS and site structure best practices

  • Strong understanding of responsive web design, UX, and web accessibility

  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite

  • Strong portfolio with marketing websites or product marketing landing pages

  • Detail-oriented with a clear eye for layout, typography, and UI consistency

Nice to Have
  • Experience integrating Webflow with tools like HubSpot, analytics, or custom code snippets

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and light JavaScript

  • Experience in climate tech, real estate, or B2B SaaS
