Job summary

An art supply company is looking for a Drawing and/or Watercolor Instructor to teach art classes at the Michaels store in Cranberry Township on a part-time basis. This role is a great opportunity for artists who want to share their skills without needing a studio. Instructors must possess the ability to paint realistically and must become certified through Grumbacher. Compensation includes an hourly rate plus additional payments based on student attendance.

Qualifications

• Instructors must have the ability to teach art classes and market them.
• Certification through Grumbacher is required to teach.
• Must be able to conduct classes lasting two hours.

Responsibilities

• Teach drawing and/or watercolor art classes at Michaels store.
• Develop class schedules in coordination with store management.
• Ensure students leave with a finished painting or drawing.

Skills

Ability to paint and/or draw realistically

Ability to teach realistic watercolor and/or drawing classes

Willingness to market classes and build a student base
