Job summary

A leading art supply company seeks a part-time Acrylic, Drawing, and/or Watercolor Instructor to teach classes at Michaels in West Hazleton. Ideal candidates should be able to paint realistically and teach classes effectively, while also marketing their classes to build a student base. Compensation includes hourly rates plus additional per student. Certification through Grumbacher is required, and this role allows artists the opportunity to share their passion without needing studio space.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching acrylic painting, watercolor, and/or drawing.
• Certification through Grumbacher required to teach classes.
• Able to conduct classes that result in a finished painting or drawing for students.

Responsibilities

• Teach art classes at Michaels store in West Hazleton.
• Ensure students complete a finished artwork in each class.
• Collaborate with Michaels management to schedule classes.
