Job summary

I-2-I Solutions in Malibu, CA is seeking a part-time Water Quality Sampler and Licensed Water System Operator to perform drinking-water sample collection, field testing, and documentation at two National Park Service well-water systems. The position is route-based and on-call, with biweekly, monthly, and annual sampling schedules.

You will uphold chain-of-custody records, coordinate laboratory deliveries with CA ELAP-certified labs, and comply with federal, state, and OSHA safety requirements

Qualifications

• Must have drinking-water sampling experience and knowledge of sampling procedures.
• Ability to maintain accurate chain-of-custody and site logs.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and field safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Collect bacteriological and drinking-water samples from two water systems in Malibu.
• Conduct biweekly coliform sampling at designated locations.
• Collect monthly raw-water bacteriological samples and other compliance samples.
• Record sampling data, test results, and dates in site logs.
• Deliver samples to a CA ELAP-certified laboratory within required holding times.
