Job summary

Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc. in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, is seeking a Part-Time Warehouse Assistant - R&D for an on-site role.

The position supports sample handling and shipping, assists with organized warehouse operations, and requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel to Seabrook NJ plant as needed. You will box and ship sample requests, label samples, prepare pallets, and assist with outbound FedEx shipments, under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in boxing and shipping all sample request submissions daily, verify data and priorities from supervisor.
• Assist with organizing activities in the warehouse including assembling shelves, labeling samples, preparing pallets for shipment and daily housekeeping.
• Assist with R&D sample requests, lab samples and new product requests for proper resource allocation and timely delivery.
• Assist in all outbound FedEx shipments.
• Work with supervisor to learn best shipping methods to meet arrival date at least cost.
• Receive direction on daily activities to ensure accuracy of order fulfillment and stock replenishment.
• Responsible for periodic department maintenance and cleaning.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
