Job summary

Kano Trucking Services on Oahu, HI is seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate to support shipping and receiving for ocean freight containers and trailers. You will stand and work on concrete floors in a large warehouse, with a focus on safety and quality service.

The role requires forklift experience and the ability to perform manual tasks in varying temperatures. The position is 2–3 days per week (Mon and Thu required), offering hands-on duties in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

• High School or GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience receiving LTL freight is required.
• 2 to 5 years of sit-down forklift experience in a Freight Forwarding environment.
• Previous experience loading containers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipping containers with a forklift effectively and safely.
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
• Perform inventory controls and keep high-quality standards for audits.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Report any inventory or product discrepancies.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Other duties may be assigned.
