Job summary

Kano Trucking Services on Oahu, HI, is hiring a motivated Part-Time Warehouse Associate to support shipping and receiving of ocean freight containers and trailers. This hands-on role requires standing on concrete floors in a large 77,000-square-foot facility and working in varying temperatures.

Key tasks include loading/unloading with a forklift, processing orders, stocking, inventory controls, and maintaining safety standards while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Experience receiving LTL freight required.
• 2–5 years of sit-down forklift experience in a Freight Forwarding environment.
• Previous experience loading containers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipping containers with a forklift effectively and safely.
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
• Perform inventory controls and keep high-quality standards for audits.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Report any inventory or product discrepancies.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Other duties may be assigned.
