Job summary

Golden State Foods is hiring a Part-time Warehouse Associate in San Antonio, TX. You will move, manage, and deliver products in a fast-paced, multi-temperature environment, loading trailers, picking orders, and leading associates to ensure accuracy and on-time shipping.

You’ll work weekends, stay active, and operate material handling equipment with safety as a priority. This role requires forklift certification and experience with warehouse tech, including RF scanners.

Qualifications

• Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred.
• Valid forklift certification and 6+ months of safe equipment operation.
• Strong reading/math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation.
• Voice-directed picking system (VoCollect headset) usage.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate material handling equipment: pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklift).
• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards.
• Use warehouse technology (RF scanners, inventory systems) to track orders and inventory.
• Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols.
• Accurately pick, lift, and place products to build pallets per customer orders.
• Operate forklifts/pallet jacks safely in high-traffic warehouse areas.
• Visually inspect and verify all incoming/outgoing product.
• Maintain safety, productivity, and cleanliness standards at all times.
