Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Part-Time Service Center Warehouse Material Handler in Charlotte, NC. You will receive, store, pick, pack and ship inventory using a Warehouse Management System, with an employee-owned culture and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities include operating pallet jacks and forklifts, cycle counts, and maintaining a safe, clean warehouse. Must be at least 18, with physical fitness to meet job demands; 2+ years in a warehouse preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2+ years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Prior large warehouse experience using a warehouse management system preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Able to lift and perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts.
• Receive and store incoming material per WMS.
• Select, pack and palletize shipments.
• Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments and conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain clean, safe warehouse and perform daily safety inspections.
