Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Part-time Warehouse Associate for our Fort Wayne, IN branch. The role focuses on inventory control, receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counting, with occasional local deliveries from 2230 Meyer Rd, Fort Wayne.

A flexible schedule may be offered after onboarding and performance goals are met. The position requires 18+, a valid driver's license, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older due to job nature.
• Must hold a current full valid driver's license for the location with ability to meet driving record requirements to operate a company vehicle.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Able to lift, slide, carry and lower packages typically weighing 25–50 lbs, may weigh up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain branch inventory.
• Receive, pick, pack, ship, and cycle count inventory.
• Make local deliveries using a company vehicle as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform additional duties to support branch success.
