Job summary

Fastenal Co. is hiring a Part-time Warehouse Associate at our NJ branch located in Flanders. You will help manage inventory, receive and ship items, and perform cycle counts while supporting daily store operations.

The role requires a valid driver's license, strong communication and computer skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. You will work independently and as part of a team, with potential for a flexible schedule after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver's license with ability to meet driving record requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn multiple tasks quickly.
• Strong organizational, planning, and prioritizing abilities.
• Self-motivated, customer-service oriented, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Attention to detail and sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift 25–50 lbs and up to 75 lbs as needed.
• Pass the required drug screen where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining branch inventory.
• Receiving, picking, packaging, shipping, and cycle counting.
• Making local deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Performing other duties to support branch success.
