Job summary

FedEx in Salt Lake City seeks a Part Time Handler to move packages, documents, dangerous goods and supplies using safe scan/load methods. This is a non-driving position in a busy, noisy operations environment.Shift Tue–Sat 04:00 AM–08:00 AM; Pay rate $18.00/hr. Requires ability to lift 50 lbs, walk and stand for long periods, climb stairs, and work in all weather. E-Verify participation applies and accommodations are available.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to maneuver packages above 50 lbs with assistance or equipment.
• Able to walk and stand for designated hours.
• Able to bend, squat, climb stairs and ladders as required.
• Able to work in all weather conditions and in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides movement of packages, documents, dangerous goods and/or supply support using scan/load methods.
• Non-driving position working on public roadways.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
