Job description

APPLY TODAY to join our warehouse as a Part-Time Turret or Shipping & Receiving Operator. There are two shifts: Monday to Friday 7AM to 2PM (Turret) or Monday to Friday 12PM to 7PM (Shipping & Receiving).

Starting pay is based on experience plus shift differential.

Responsibilities include picking, pulling, and moving pallets of products while operating a turret machine, following all safety standards, policies, and procedures. You will also stage and put away materials in a warehouse environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Write the order number, receiver’s name, and quantity on every order, box, pallet, package, and bin pulled.
2. Report any issues with tickets immediately to the supervisor.
3. Pull all orders in a timely manner.
4. Assist with freight and locate products after orders are pulled.
5. Report broken pallets to the supervisor.
6. Complete daily forklift maintenance/checks.
7. Monitor, maintain, and clean batteries, and leave equipment at the proper charging station.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate other machinery and material handling equipment as needed.

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

• Ability to understand instructions in the official language of the country or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C in cold storage or up to 100°F/37°C in dry storage, wearing appropriate PPE.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs; weight requirements may vary by facility.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if necessary.
• Comfortable with noisy environments.
