Job summary

Owens & Minor is hiring a PART TIME Equipment Operator to support frontline healthcare workers by ensuring critical medical products are accurately received, picked, and shipped. The Distribution Center role requires operating material handling equipment, unloading trailers, and verifying products with RF scanners in a fast-paced setting.

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Pay: $19/hour. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work overtime if needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse/distribution center environment.
• Experience with RF scanners and voice-pick systems.
• Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment including cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, and electric pallet jacks
• Unload inbound trailers and containers using pallet jacks and equipment
• Receive, pick, and verify products using RF scanners and Voice Pick Technology
• Load and stage pallets, totes, and cartons for shipment
• Move products through the warehouse using conveyors and pallet jacks
• Maintain inventory accuracy and document discrepancies
• Prepare pallets and carts for outbound shipments
• Follow warehouse procedures, productivity standards, and safety guidelines
• Perform physical inventory counts as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned
