Tile America, a family-owned retailer of tile and stone, is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Fairfield, CT. In this role you will assist customers with order pickups, prepare orders, and manage receipt of merchandise in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers $20-22 per hour, with 30-32 hours weekly, including Saturdays. Full-time Tile America employees receive medical, dental, and a 401(k) match, plus paid time off and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of material handling experience preferred.
• Forklift certification is preferred but not required; training provided.
• Dependable, hardworking and organized.
• Alert, focused and detail oriented.
• Able to meet physical demands (lifting, carrying, bending, pushing, pulling).

Responsabilités

• Assist customers with order pick-up; accurately prepare orders and complete sales paperwork.
• Load and unload bulky and heavy merchandise.
• Open crates and containers to identify and receive product.
• Place incoming product in assigned storage locations.
• Relocate product as required and according to a predetermined sequence.
• Assist with physical inventories and cycle counting.
• Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse.
• Maintain a safe work environment and comply with safety policies.
