Job summary

Canteen is hiring for part-time Warehouse Attendant positions at 171 Covington Lane, Bloomingdale, IL 60108. The role involves receiving, storing, and distributing materials, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

No detailed education required; prior warehouse and picking experience is preferred and training is provided where needed. The schedule is Sunday through Wednesday and Friday with variable hours; compensation is $19.75 per hour, with an internal referral bonus available.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse and picking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reads production schedule to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
• Conveys materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Places materials on racks, shelves and bins or in refrigerated rooms according to product code.
• Fills requisitions, work orders or requests for materials and distributes items to production workers.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves; conveys orders to packing/shipping.
• Maintains inventory records and weighs or counts items for distribution.
• Performs other duties as assigned and ensures proper presentation and temperatures per HACCP standards.
