Job summary

Sway in South San Francisco, CA is seeking a capable part-time Warehouse Associate to support our warehouse operations. You will handle receiving, sorting, loading, unloading, and organizing products as a key contributor to our team.

The role offers early growth into team lead as we expand; you should have proven warehouse experience, a high school diploma, and basic knowledge of warehouse data systems. Pay is $22/hour and work is onsite.

Qualifications

• Team player with good organizational skills.
• High school diploma required; BD/BS preferred.
• Adequate knowledge of warehouse data systems helpful.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse inventory management.
• Process, sort, and ingest packages accurately.
• Monitor ingoing and outgoing shipments.
• Organize warehouse space.
• Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately.
• Check and verify shipping labels.
• Abide by all safety and hygiene regulations.
• Contribute ideas to improve warehousing procedures.
• Communicate needs to HQ.
• Coordinate pickups/deliveries with drivers.
• Reschedule failed deliveries and track status.
• Handle basic daily operations admin tasks.
• Verify delivery photos for accuracy and compliance.
• Consolidate pickups and assist with outgoing shipments.

The Role

We are seeking a capable part-time Warehouse Associate to support our warehouse operations. In this role, you will handle receiving, sorting, loading, unloading, and organizing products, while assisting with a variety of warehouse tasks. You’ll start as a key individual contributor to our warehouse team, with the potential to grow into a team lead role as the company expands.

What You’ll Do:

• Warehouse inventory management
• Process, sort, and ingest packages accurately
• Monitor ingoing and outgoing shipments
• Organize warehouse space
• Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
• Check and verify shipping labels
• Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations
• Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
• Communicate operational needs & concerns to HQ team
• Coordinate and communicate with drivers regarding pickups and deliveries
• Reschedule and track failed delivery attempts
• Handle basic administrative tasks related to daily operations
• Verify and review delivery photos for accuracy and compliance
• Consolidate pickups and assist in processing outgoing shipments

Basic Qualifications:

• Proven warehouse experience
• Team player with organizational skills
• High school diploma
• Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system

Preferred Qualifications:

• A BS degree is preferred
• Forklift Certified is preferred but not required
