Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Part-time Warehouse Associate to support branch operations, inventory control, and order fulfillment. You'll handle receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and cycle counts, and may make local deliveries when needed.

This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork; you will work a flexible schedule Mon-Fri 7:30am-5:00pm with up to 28 hours per week, at our 524 NE 23rd Ave location, Gainesville.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older to meet job requirements.
• Possess a current full valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities.
• Self-motivated, customer service oriented and able to work independently or in a team.
• Attention to detail and sense of urgency.

• Lift/carry 25–50 lbs, up to 75 lbs; pass drug screen where required.

Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining branch inventory.
• Receiving, picking, packaging, shipping, and cycle counting inventory.

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Performing other duties as needed to ensure branch success.
