Job summary

Batesville is seeking a Warehouse Associate to safely handle shipments, care for inventory, and perform various warehouse duties. Flexible 4–6 hour shifts, 1–3 days per week, ideal for students or supplemental income.

Pay is $20.00 per hour, with compensation based on factors such as experience and location. Responsibilities include inspecting units for quality, unloading inbound and loading outbound caskets, and maintaining an organized work area.

Qualifications

• 1 year of warehouse or related experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to drive a truck within facility confines and learn how to spot trailers.
• Dependable, honest, quick learner with good communication and team skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Must be able to lift/move 50–100 lbs.
• Forklift experience is preferred.
• Ability to learn new skills quickly.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspection of each unit to ensure quality.
• Unload inbound and load outbound caskets quickly, accurately, safely, and damage-free.
• Keep a clean and organized work area.
• Perform various warehouse duties as requested.
• Operate various power equipment efficiently and safely.
• Other duties may be assigned.
