Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic and optimistic team member for the role of Warehouse Worker, Part-time, 1st Shift. This position supports receiving, stocking, and order filling in our fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will verify products, maintain inventories, follow AVI policies, and communicate issues to management. Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, a strong work ethic, and can lift 50 lbs and work in temperature extremes.

Qualifications

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred.
• Great work ethic is essential.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in temperature extremes and humidity.
• Willingness to learn and grow within AVI.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse
• Receive products coming into the warehouse
• Verify quantity and description of products
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped
• Stock incoming orders
• Maintain accurate physical inventories
• Ensure all distribution and receiving are in a timely and orderly manner
• Follow proper receiving procedures
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)
