Job summary

CFS Brands in Louisville, KY is seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate to support receiving, storing, and shipping at our distribution center. The role includes basic forklift operation and adherence to safety, productivity, and quality standards.

You will assist with labeling, packing, and inventory checks while maintaining accurate paperwork. The position offers 2–3 weekdays, daytime shifts and opportunities to grow forklift skills in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse/shipping/receiving or distribution preferred but not required.
• Forklift experience preferred; ability to become forklift certified.
• Mechanical aptitude with basic hand and power tools usage.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, shipping documents, and labels.
• Basic math skills to count, verify, and record inventory and shipments.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to follow all policies, procedures, and OSHA safety regulations.
• Demonstrated reliability with regular attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently, recording necessary paperwork.
• Transport product to storage areas using proper equipment and safely stacking and storing product.
• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and related tasks as needed.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely while meeting productivity and quality targets.
• Check product for accuracy in inventory, damage, and complete paperwork.
• Assist in maintaining facility security.
• Promote a safe environment by following proper procedures and PPE usage.
• Sweep and clean areas including trailers as needed.
• Follow all company rules regarding conduct and safety.
