Job summary

Stier Supply Company is hiring for a part-time first shift warehouse position in Summerville. You will unload materials from trucks, verify quantities, and keep the warehouse organized, labeling and maintaining bin locations.

You may perform additional duties as needed to support a fast-paced construction materials operation. The role requires the ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly, work outdoors and indoors in varying weather, and pass drug/background screening.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) when dealing with vendors, management, and team members.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift and climb to move materials.
• Must be able to lift 75+ pounds of material continually.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Must be able to pass a company required drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely unloading materials manually from trucks daily.
• Assist in verifying materials and quantities for accuracy.
• Organize, label, and maintain material and bin locations.

Job Description

Responsible for safely unloading materials manually from trucks daily. Assists in verifying materials and quantities for accuracy. Responsible for the organization, labeling, and overall upkeep of material and bin locations. Other duties as assigned. Other warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) when dealing with vendors, management, and team members
• Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to bend, reach, lift and climb
• Must be able to lift 75+ pounds of material continually
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Must be able to pass a company required drug and background screening
