Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate supports warehouse operations, including receiving freight, checking for damages or shortages, distributing materials, filling orders, and maintaining inventory and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming freight and check for damages or shortages.
• Distribute materials to proper stock locations and fill special orders/backorders.
• Follow up on discrepancies, damages, and shortages with relevant departments or vendors.
• Check, pack, and prepare materials for delivery, understanding truck routes and coordinating deliveries.
• Maintain shipping equipment, work area, and inventory accuracy.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment safely, adhering to safety regulations.
• Support warehouse operations and assist with customer service functions as needed.

Qualifications

• Preferred two years of relevant work experience, including warehouse distribution and forklift operation.
• Valid driver’s license and medical certification if driving company vehicles.
• Basic PC skills, including Windows, Internet, email, and SAP knowledge.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, perform physical activities like bending, stooping, reaching, and standing frequently, and operate equipment safely.
