Job summary

A family-owned supply company in Garner is looking for a part-time worker to manually unload materials, verify shipments, and maintain the warehouse. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and the ability to lift heavy materials. This position operates Monday to Friday during the first shift, and prior experience in material handling is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) when dealing with vendors, management, and team members.
  • Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions.
  • Ability to bend, reach, lift and climb.
  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds of material continually.

Responsibilities

  • Safely unload materials manually from trucks daily.
  • Assist in verifying materials and quantities for accuracy.
  • Organize, label, and maintain material and bin locations.

Job Description

Responsible for safely unloading materials manually from trucks daily. Assists in verifying materials and quantities for accuracy. Responsible for the organization, labeling, and overall upkeep of material and bin locations. Other duties as assigned. Other warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) when dealing with vendors, management, and team members
  • Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions.
  • Ability to bend, reach, lift and climb
  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds of material continually
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area
  • Must be able to pass a company required drug and background screening
  • Employment Eligibility
Preferred
