Job summary

The Quincy Kroc Center is seeking a Volleyball Referee to support the fall volleyball season. This temporary, part-time role focuses on enforcing the rules, ensuring safety, and delivering fair play during games while promoting a welcoming atmosphere.

Compensation is $16.00 per hour for up to 19 hours weekly, with games on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5pm to 9pm, from September 28 through November 16. It’s a great team to join for those who value wellness and community impact.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent preferred.
• Previous referee experience with various sports and age groups preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• A proactive and responsible approach to handling tasks.
• Weekend and Evening availability is required to cater to Volleyball schedules.

Responsibilities

• Enforce rules of the game.
• Observe and enforce all safety rules.
• Issue and control equipment and supplies.
• Inspect program areas and equipment, recommending maintenance and repair.
• Adhere to Kroc Center operations, policies, and procedures
