Job summary

Ensemble Schools is seeking a part-time Voice/Piano Instructor to teach in-person at New World Music Academy's Alamo location. You will offer voice and piano lessons, with the option to teach a secondary instrument and grow into a full-time role as opportunities arise.

Availability and reliability are important in our open-hours schedule. Candidates should have a strong music background and be comfortable working with young musicians, with the ability to pass routine background checks.

Qualifications

• Strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
• Demonstrated love of teaching and experience working with young musicians.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.
• Ability to pass a routine background check.

Responsibilities

• Teach in-person voice and/or piano lessons at the Alamo location.
• Instruct a secondary instrument when applicable, with potential for growth to full-time.
• Maintain consistent availability and punctuality.
• Pass routine background checks as required.
