Qualifications

• MFA in Vocal Performance or Vocal Pedagogy or a closely related discipline.
• Academic and professional credentials to teach.
• Two years of work experience in a related profession or post-secondary teaching experience.
• Specialization in vocal performance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare for teaching and maintain an active and engaged classroom environment.
• Design, submit and approve syllabi; hold office hours and midterm grade reviews.
• Provide extra-help sessions, extended-learning opportunities, and field trips; conduct course and program-level assessments.
• Attend on-ground and virtual events such as faculty meetings and admission events; contribute to curriculum assessment and accreditation efforts.
