Job summary

Orange East Supervisory Union is seeking a .25 FTE Vocal/Instrumental coach at Oxbow High School in Bradford, Vermont. The role involves teaching instrumental and vocal lessons, guiding students toward auditions and music festivals, and supporting broader music education activities.

The schedule is flexible and to be arranged with students, using available spaces and coordinating with the school music staff. Bachelor’s degree in music and a Vermont license with a music endorsement are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Music or equivalent (Music Education preferred).
• Experience teaching music is preferred but not required.
• Must hold or be able to obtain a Vermont Educator’s License with a Music endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Teach instrumental and vocal lessons to students.
• Prepare students for auditions and music festivals (Districts, All-State, etc.).
• Collaborate with the Oxbow High School music teacher and schedule weekly sessions with students.
