Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead in New Jersey. You will be the face of the store, guiding patients through the Visionworks journey with optical knowledge and friendly service.

The role requires 12 months optical experience or ABO certification and proper licensing as per state guidelines. Responsibilities include achieving daily sales goals, advising customers on eyewear options, measuring for fit, and supporting store operations.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily sales goals by executing excellent Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services.
• Measure patients for eyewear and keep up with eyewear knowledge via ongoing training.
• Support store operations including opening/closing in LEAD roles as needed
