Job summary

Visionworks in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of the store and guide customers through the Visionworks experience. The role requires optical knowledge, license compliance, and a track record of meeting daily sales goals.

Part-time position with pay between $11.86 and $16.01 per hour. Ideal candidates have 12 months optical experience or ABO certification and a valid state license where required.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required (Visionworks or other organization) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through training.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals.
