Qualifications

• Proficiency in sound editing and picture editing.

• Experience in experimental documentary style, particularly short-form content.

Responsibilities

• Take over a previous project with a 22‑minute cut awaiting a 2027 festival submission.
• Cleanly mix sound, working with licensed, composed, or public‑domain music.
• Add and remove scenes as needed.
• Create a 1–2 minute trailer.
• Upload edits and final cuts to Vimeo with appropriate notes.
• Develop a basic website for the film.
• Collaborate with the director on editing decisions.
• Work approximately 4hours daily on‑site at the filmmaker’s home, with optional home‑based work.
• Complete the project before the midterm elections.
