Job summary

Plantation Animal Clinic is looking for a part-time Veterinary Technician to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Matthews, NC. You will provide end-to-end care for our patients, assist with outpatient treatments, perform laboratory tests, and support admitting and discharging patients. The role requires at least 2 years of clinical veterinary experience, with CVT/RVT/LVT credentials preferred, and a positive, self-motivated attitude that supports a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care).
• CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) preferred.
• Superior/advanced technical skills.
• Has strong anesthesia skills (able to obtain a blood pressure, ECG, SpO2, and ETCO2 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care).
• Possesses a positive work attitude
• Self-motivated
• Excellent leadership, communication and organization skills
