Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare's Columbia, SC hospital is seeking a part-time Board-Certified or residency-trained Veterinary Oncologist to join our busy emergency and specialty hospital. You will collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to provide premier oncology care and support our patients and clients.

Columbia offers a vibrant community and a supportive work environment with access to advanced imaging (CT, MRI) and on-site Antech reference lab, plus a robust 24-hour ER to complement oncology

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) required.
• State Veterinary Board License in good standing for the hiring state.
• Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
• Board Certified or Residency Trained Veterinary Oncologist.

Responsibilities

• Provide oncology care as part of a multi-disciplinary oncology team.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, critical care and surgery services for patient care.
• Support clients with treatment options and outcomes across the oncology path.
