Job summary

Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) is recruiting Part-Time Faculty to teach veterinary nursing or veterinary assisting. Courses may be taught in-person, online, or hybrid, with opportunities at Meadowood campus and offsite labs.

A pool of qualified candidates will be contacted when vacancies arise for temporary assignments. Minimum qualifications include an AVMA/CVMA accredited credential or DVM degree and a commitment to student success.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate Degree as a Veterinary Technician or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from AVMA/CVMA accredited program, or licensed veterinary technician in good standing.
• Desire to work with students and diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Teach course content and assess student learning.
• Stay current in the field and reference college resources.
• Utilize current technology and maintain professional conduct.
• Complete professional development and participate in teach-related workshops.
