Qualifications

• Veterinary client service or veterinary medicine experience preferred.
• Emergency or specialty veterinary hospital experience preferred.
• Experience with EzyVet is highly desirable but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, compassionate demeanor.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and exercise sound judgment in high-stress situations.
• Professional appearance and commitment to excellent client service.
• Willingness and ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and other shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients in a friendly, helpful, and compassionate manner
• Process appointments, emergencies, and client requests while delivering exceptional customer service
• Prepare, review, and maintain medical records and documentation accurately and completely
• Educate clients about Vista Veterinary Specialists' services, policies, and procedures
• Process patient admissions and discharges, including scheduling follow-up appointments as needed
• Accurately process invoices and client payments
• Update and maintain client and patient records in accordance with hospital policies and legal requirements
• Assist with administrative tasks, including scanning, faxing, emailing, and document management
• Support the hospital team by maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment
