Job summary

Alta Rancho Pet Hospital in Rancho Cucamonga, CA is seeking a Part-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our team. You will support clinicians with patient care, handle pet histories, prepare exam rooms, and assist during procedures. Some Saturday shifts may be required.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of clinical experience, knowledge of venipuncture and IV access, radiography, and dental procedures. AVMA-accredited program preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years clinical experience as a veterinary technician or assistant.
• AVMA-accredited Vet Tech program preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment.
• Excellent client communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinary team during examinations and procedures.
• Obtain accurate and thorough medical histories from clients.
• Perform venipuncture and IV catheter placement.
• Assist with dental procedures and basic radiography.
