Qualifications

• DVM degree from AVMA-accredited veterinary school.
• Active licensure in the state of Florida or eligible to obtain.
• Current DEA license.
• Current USDA accreditation, or ability to obtain within two months.
• Experience with anesthesia and routine surgeries (spays/neuters) and dentals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; compassionate care.
• Strong teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced hospital.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations, diagnose, and treat diseases.
• Provide preventive care and client education.
• Perform spays/neuters, dental procedures, and mass removals.
• Develop treatment plans and coordinate with referral hospitals as needed.
• Participate in rounds and mentor staff as appropriate.
