Job summary

Martin Inc. is seeking a Vending Support/Inventory Associate to join our team. You will maintain on-site operations, manage inventory, and support vending services at customer locations.

This non-exempt role requires driving between sites within a 75-mile radius, handling VMI duties, and coordinating with branch staff; strong teamwork and reliability are essential. Weekly pay and a benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of inventory management or related field experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Ability to drive a 26-foot box truck and a cargo van.
• Ability to meet driving criteria of Martin (age 21) and operate vehicles safely.
• Pass a D.O.T. physical, drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at customer and Martin locations.
• Load and unload product on-site at customer and Martin locations.
• Safely make deliveries within a 75-mile radius.
• Perform Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) duties.
• Fill vending machines and manage on-site inventory at customer locations.
• Communicate customer concerns or needs to the branch.
• Perform basic warehouse functions: order picking, stocking, shipping, receiving, cycle counting, cleaning.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while on-site at customer and Martin locations.
• Load and unload product on-site at customer and Martin locations.
• Safely make deliveries in a 75-mile radius
• Handling VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) duties
• Fill vending machines and put away inventory at customer locations.
• Communicate back to the branch any concerns or needs of the customer.
• Basic warehouse functions including, order picking, stocking, shipping, receiving, cycle counting, and cleaning

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in inventory management or other industrial or maintenance related fields.
• Strong customer focus, work ethic, and ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Ability to drive a 26-foot box truck
• Ability to drive a cargo van
• Meet the driving criteria of Martin, insurance requires age 21
• Operate a vehicle safely and abide by the laws of each state you travel in
• ability to operate any material handling equipment (forklift, order picker, pallet jack, etc.)
• Pass a D.O.T. Physical
• Pass a drug screening and background check
