Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing seeks a Hiker (Vehicle Transporter/Truck Driver) to deliver and return vehicles to Penske locations and customers. The role primarily moves box trucks up to 26’; CDL Class A may involve tractors and trailers.

This is a casual/on-call part-time position offering 0–25 hours per week with daytime shifts. Required: 2 years of driving experience, a clean DMV record, and a valid Class B CDL (Class A preferred).

Qualifications

• 2 years of driving experience.
• 2 years of a clean DMV record.
• Valid Class B CDL required; applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence.
• CDL Class A license preferred for broader duties.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures while driving trucks to Penske locations or customer destinations.
• Check vehicles and report mechanical/safety issues to location manager.
• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment when required.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to vehicles.
• Support other Projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
