Job summary

GoalVest Venture Capital is seeking an Associate to work directly with the Managing Partner in New York, NY. This is a part-time, hybrid role (20–40 hours/week) embedded in deal sourcing, investor relations, and fund operations.

You will build financial models, manage CRM pipelines, draft LP communications, and help automate workflows. The position offers exposure across investment processes and internal systems within a growing venture fund.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in venture capital, growth equity, investment banking, or a closely related investing role (must have investment exposure).
• Strong written communication skills with ability to draft polished correspondence for the firm.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms (Affinity strongly preferred) and outreach/sequencing tools.

Responsibilities

• Support due diligence efforts including company research, financial modeling, and preparation of investment materials.
• Maintain and manage deal, LP, founder, and VC pipelines in CRM, ensuring data accuracy across stages.
• Source and vet potential investments across primary rounds and secondary markets.
