Job summary

SolutionHealth's Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua seeks an Intravenous Specialist to assess vascular access needs and develop plans of care. You will place peripheral IVs, midlines, and PICC lines using ultrasound guidance, support IV therapy across the facility, and educate staff.

This is a part-time role, 24 hours per week with day/evening shifts; NH RN license and VACC certification within one year are required.

Qualifications

• Current New Hampshire RN licensure.
• Anticipated VACC certification within 12 months of hire.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in vascular access and IV therapy.

Responsibilities

• Use ultrasound to place midlines and PICC lines.
• Assess vascular access needs and prioritize care.
• Use vein visualization technology to support procedures.
• Maintain expert peripheral IV insertion skills.
• Work independently while prioritizing patient care.
• Document using facility IT systems.
• Communicate with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
• Educate clinical staff on vascular access best practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for safe IV therapy.
