A valid GA driver’s license, clean DMV record, and ability to lift 50 lbs are required. Flexibility for weekend/evening hours and a neat appearance are expected; training and uniform

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have a safe driving record and provide a DMV copy.
• Must have a current driver's license for operating the vehicle.
• Must be polite, organized and able to work in a team.
• Must be physically and mentally capable and able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to ascend/descend stairs and operate a wheelchair lift.
• Uniform may be required; flexible schedule incl. some weekends/evenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to residents on a scheduled basis and for special trips.
• Assist in developing routes and schedules based on resident needs.
• Maintain mileage, repair, trip and expense logs; keep receipts.
• Keep van clean inside and out and report accidents/incidents promptly.
• Assist Activities/Programming Department and attend required trainings/meetings.
